The program builds from a strong foundation of drawing and
continues with color theory and technique to train the student in
all forms of fine art.
Art 1: Focuses on realistic drawing & shading. Students will learn to draw what they “see” and master control of the pencil. This will provide the foundation for color. Each student will work at his/her own pace. ages 9-18
Art 2- 3: The student will learn how to use color. They will progress through color pencils, soft pastels (optional), oil pastels(optional), water color, acrylics, and oil painting. Each student will work at his/her own pace. ages 9-18
Adult Art: Is a mixture of Art 1 - 3 depending on individual interest and skill level. Adults are welcome on Tuesdays 12-1:30, 4:30-6:00 or 6:30-8:00 pm.
Matisse: A new concept will be introduced & applied each week. Students will have fun learning through creative exploration. Supplies Included. ages 5-8
Fee: $80 a month (4 classes) with signed contract
Supplies: Dependent on medium, the Art I supply pack is $50
Call or email today to see which classes have openings. Once you choose a class, you will attend that class once each week (averaging 4 a month). For example, If you are in the Monday 4:30-6:00 class, you will attend every Monday 4:30-6:00.
